Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist with food prep, portion meals, and serve customers with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. You’ll learn on the job under supervision, coordinating with managers to ensure timely, safe service and quality standards.

Responsibilities include preparing food items, maintaining stations, taking samples, keeping logs, and handling customer feedback while upholding sanitation and safety requirements. Training available as needed.

Qualifications

• Great customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Serve Safe Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of and assist in preparation of food items for the day and dating products.
• Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations designated by the manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Ensure accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs.
• Take samples of all food items on the line prior to serving customers.
• Alert management and pull items that do not meet quality expectations.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists.
• Greet customers as they approach and leave the serving line.
• Assist with maintaining a clean work station and sanitization.
• Responsible for disposal of waste from the service line.
• Assist with safety observations and report hazards.
• Cross-train in areas as needed.
• Able to work in concessions, catering, and special events as required.
