Job summary

Cumberland Farms in Massachusetts is seeking a high-energy Guest Service Leader to assist with managing the location’s food operation, ensuring quick, quality food and a safe, friendly guest experience. You will guide team members on food safety, oversee stock, costs, waste, and presentation of hot and cold prepared foods, and train peers on safety and standards while supporting the Store Manager.

Flexible scheduling includes part-time and full-time hours; ServSafe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School or GED.
• Minimum experience: 6 months retail or food experience.
• Preferred experience: 1 year in retail, service or restaurant environment.
• ServSafe certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly manner to ensure they feel welcomed.
• Manage food stock levels, costs, waste, prep, presentation, and safety for hot/cold items.
• Oversee cleanliness, sanitation, and equipment maintenance in the food service area.
• Meet company goals for food sales (pizza, breakfast sandwiches, coffee).
• Provide training, coaching and direction to team members on food prep and safety.
• Maintain relationships with third‑party vendors on food safety measures and record-keeping.
• Maintain stock levels and rotation for sandwich and pastry cases, etc.
• Process guest transactions efficiently to minimize wait times.
