Job summary

Aramark seeks a Food Service Worker to assist with food prep, portioning meals, and serving customers. You will learn on the job with guidance from your manager and strive to provide excellent service with a positive attitude.

The role involves concessions, catering, and events; you will help maintain cleanliness, follow recipes, and ensure portions and safety standards are met daily.

Qualifications

• Customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Leadership and supervisory abilities preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Experience in food service preferred; safety focused.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of and assist in preparation of food items for the day.
• Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Responsible for use of accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs.
• Responsible for taking samples of all food items on the line prior to serving the customers.
• Alert management and pull food items that do not meet quality expectations.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists.
• Greet customers as they approach and leave the serving line; handle complaints with a smile.
• Coordinate and assist in maintaining a clean work station and sanitation.
• Ensures that all work areas and serving utensils are cleaned and sanitized.
• Responsible for disposal of waste from the service line.
• Assist with safety observations and report hazards.
• Cross-train in areas as needed.
• Able to work in concessions, catering, and special events as required.
• Perform tasks as requested by management on a schedule.
• Lead and advise employees to ensure timely service; request support for sanitation issues.
