Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist in food prep, portioning, and serving. You will learn on the job, work with a positive attitude, and support a team in a fast-paced environment.

You will help with station setup, food preparation, and maintaining quality and safety standards. This role may involve catering and events as directed by management, with opportunities to grow skills and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Frequent lifting and transporting hot food items required.
• Ability to work in a kitchen with heated equipment, steam, and noise.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of and assist in preparation of food items for the day and dating products.
• Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations designated by the manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Ensure accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs.
• Take samples of all food items on the line prior to serving customers.
• Alert management and pull items not meeting quality expectations.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists.
• Greet customers at the serving line and handle feedback with a positive attitude.
• Maintain a clean work station and sanitize utensils and surfaces.
• Dispose of waste from the service line properly.
• Transport supplies between storage and work areas as needed.
• Support safety observations and report hazards to management.
• Cross-train in areas as needed and support events or catering.
