Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist with food prep, portioning meals, and serving customers. Under supervision, you will learn on the job, support station setup and breakdown, and ensure quality while maintaining a positive attitude.

You will work as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment, follow recipes, and help uphold safety and sanitation standards. Previous food service experience is helpful, and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a team environment with others.
• Serve Safe Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Requires frequent lifting and transporting hot food items.
• Able to work in kitchen areas with heat, steam, noise and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in preparation of food items for the day.
• Coordinate setup and breakdown of stations as directed by the manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Use accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs and samples for quality checks.
• Take samples of all food items on the line prior to serving.
• Greet customers and handle feedback with a positive attitude.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists.
• Assist with sanitation and cleaning of work stations and equipment.
• Cross-train in areas as needed and support events and catering.
