Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, CO is hiring a Full-time cook to prepare high-quality meals for patients, café service, and catering events. You will collaborate with leadership to update menus and production records, maintain HACCP-compliant kitchens, and oversee portions and batch cooking for patient and retail services.

You will coordinate with the FANS Coordinator and team to ensure daily operations run smoothly, addressing issues and meeting service expectations daily.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent [Preferred]
• 2+ years of food service or healthcare experience [Preferred]
• ServeSafe Certification (SERV) [Preferred]

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality, visually appealing meals for patients, café service, and catering events, following established recipes and production sheets.
• Create and update menus, recipes, and production records in collaboration with leadership to support dietary compliance and operational efficiency.
• Maintain clean and sanitary workspaces, equipment, and storage areas by following HACCP guidelines and recording temperatures accurately.
• Oversee food production activities, ensuring proper portioning, batch cooking, and adherence to culinary standards for both patient and retail services.
• Communicate effectively with the FANS Coordinator and team members to coordinate daily operations, resolve issues, and ensure service expectations are consistently met.
• Other duties as assigned.
