Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver is seeking a Food Service teammate to prepare patient, retail, and catering meals following production records. You will assist with advance prep, inventory management, and maintaining a clean kitchen to meet health standards.

Candidates should have strong organizational and communication skills, be comfortable using computers, and support a collaborative team in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Must be organized and able to read/write instructions.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to use a computer and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient, retail, and catering meals by following production records.
• Review pull sheets and organize ingredients for service periods.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and record temperatures per health standards.
• Manage inventory: sort, label, date, rotate stock to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with managers and team to meet operational goals and ensure efficient service.

Job Description:

Prepare patient, retail, and catering meals by following culinary production records, including short-order and batch cooking to ensure quality and temperature standards. Execute advance prep tasks by reviewing pull sheets and organizing ingredients for upcoming service periods and high-volume production needs. Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment and surfaces meet health standards and recording temperatures according to regulatory requirements. Manage inventory by sorting, labeling, dating, and rotating stock to support food safety and minimize waste. Collaborate with managers and team members to meet operational goals, communicate needs, and support efficient food service delivery. Other duties as assigned.
