Job summary

• Maintain and update student meal accounts and communicate with parents regarding account issues.
• Maintain and enforce all program requirements set forth in the National School Lunch Program.
• Assist in forecasting daily production needs and ordering foods and supplies to meet projected needs.
• Obtain daily student meal counts and adjust forecasts accordingly.
• Oversee all food preparation, portioning, holding, service, and storage of leftovers.
• Enforce HACCP protocol.
• Assist in managing the operation to promote a positive profit and loss balance.
• Provide staff training and ongoing input on job performance.

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must work in a hot, humid environment.
• Must work in a cold, or below zero environment for short periods.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Benefits and work calendar as provided by the Classified Agreement.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Obtain daily student meal counts and adjust forecasted production to accommodate orders.
• Assist in overseeing all food preparation, portioning, holding, service, and storage of left-overs.
• Enforce all HACCP protocol.
• Assist in Managing the operation to promote a positive profit and loss balance.
• Provide staff training and on-going input on job performance.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Report to work at scheduled time with proper uniformand appropriately groomed.
• Adhere to all school district and building rulesand regulations.
• Utilize proper hand washing techniques.
• Perform all tasks in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and seminars as scheduled.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
