Oakland Schools is seeking a dependable Food Service Kitchen Helper for Lamphere Schools, working 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday (8:30am–1:30pm) for the 10.5-month school year, through EduStaff. You will assist with food prep, serving meals, cashiering, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Lamphere Schools is contracting the services of Edustaff for food service staff. Position: 10.5-Month School-Year Position (Contracted through EduStaff). Location: Hiller Elementary- Lamphere Schools. Work schedule: 5 hour/day Monday- Friday 8:30am-1:30pm. Pay Rate: $15.25/hour. Position Summary: Lamphere Schools is seeking a dependable, energetic Food Service Kitchen Helper to assist with preparing and serving nutritious meals to students and staff. This position supports daily kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, meal service, cashiering, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
This position is contracted through EduStaff. Employment, payroll, and eligibility for any available benefits are administered by EduStaff.
Employment is contingent upon disclosure in accordance with PA-189.
Must demonstrate reliability and punctuality, with a strong record of consistent attendance.
All staff members are expected to maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward one another at all times.
Selected candidates will be required to have a district paid fingerprint criminal history check processed through the Michigan State Police and FBI.
