Position Overview

The Food Service Director plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of running a large food service operation with one or more production kitchens. This role oversees operational and financial responsibilities, supervising an Assistant Food Service Director and/or a team of Food Service Supervisors and Cooks involved in food preparation, serving, and cleanup in a secure correctional facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; at least 18 years old
• Five years of management or supervisory experience in food service
• Valid driver's license
• ServSafe Certification
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards
• Basic accounting and mathematical skills
