Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Director in New Mexico to lead a large food service operation within a secure correctional facility. You will plan, direct and coordinate production kitchens, managing both operational and financial aspects.

You will supervise an Assistant Food Service Director and a team of Supervisors and Cooks, ensuring sanitation, safety and contract compliance while delivering quality meals and efficient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years of management or supervisory experience in food service.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• ServSafe certification held.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Basic accounting and mathematical reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

About This Position

The Food Service Director plans, directs and coordinates the activities of running a large food service operation with one or more production kitchens. This position oversees the kitchen's operational and financial responsibilities. This position supervises an Assistant Food Service Director and/or a team of Food Service Supervisors and/or Cooks who are involved with the preparation, serving and clean‑up of food in a secure correctional facility. Other duties as determined by the needs of the business.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
• Five years of management or supervisory experience in a food service environment.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• ServSafe certification.
• Knowledge and experience managing and applying kitchen sanitation and safety standards and methods.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and mathematical abilities to complete necessary reports.
