Job summary

Healthcare Nursing Center is seeking a Food Service Director in Illinois to lead the dietary department in a skilled nursing facility. You will plan and direct all aspects of the dietary program, supervise staff, maintain cleanliness, and ensure meals meet residents' nutritional needs.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent, a food sanitation certification, and the Illinois Dietary Manager Certification (CDM); prior Food Service Director experience in a skilled nursing

As a Food Service Director, you will take charge of the Dietary Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect by planning and directing all aspects of the Dietary Department, supervising Dietary Staff, ensuring department cleanliness and ensuring residents receive meals that meet their nutritional needs.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

• As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent;
• Food sanitation certification;
• State of Illinois Dietary Manager Certification (C.D.M).
• At least two (2) years prior Food Service Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable.
