Job summary

Elior School Dining in Arkansas is seeking a motivated Food Service Director to lead a busy dining program for students, faculty and clients. You will oversee menu planning, staff scheduling, safety standards and day-to-day operations to ensure meals are served efficiently.

This role requires strong communication, four years of coordination experience, and the ability to travel weekly between Helena and Blytheville accounts. The department values collaboration, quality dining, and cost controls.

Qualifications

• At least four years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Previous experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication skills and experience communicating with both hourly staff and company executives.
• The ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer services and satisfaction.
• Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications.

We are looking to add a motivated, effective food service director to our School Dining team in Helena and Blytheville. As a food service director, you will have the opportunity to lead a talented team of food service workers and manage all aspects of a food service department to ensure that students, faculty and clients never miss a meal

Weekly travel required between Helena and Blytheville school accounts

What you'll be doing:

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• At least four years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Previous experience with industrial cooking.

Nice-to-haves:

• Previous experience in school dining under NSLP
• Previous experience in food service contract services
• ServSafe and/or HACCP certification

Compensation Range

Up to $60,000 per year depending on experience
