Job summary

Spring Creek Care Center in Millcreek, UT is seeking a Full Time Dietary Aide. You will prepare meals per menus and dietary needs, review tray cards, assemble trays, serve meals, stock snack carts, and maintain cleanliness across food service areas.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or enrollment in current high school courses.
• Experience working in the kitchen of institutions that provide meals to large groups on a daily basis.
• Experience cooking in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold meals and beverages according to menus and dietary needs.
• Review tray cards for allergies, preferences, and special instructions.
• Assemble meal trays with correct dishware and adaptive equipment.
• Serve meals and assist with delivery to residents.
• Prepare and stock snack carts.
• Clean dishes, utensils, and food prep areas after use and follow cleaning schedules.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Attend trainings/meetings and support additional tasks.

What we're looking for:

• Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
• Exposure to body fluids and communicable diseases
• Full range of body motion including handling and lifting objects
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met
• Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility
