Job summary

Tidewell Hospice, a part of Empath Health, seeks a Food Service Coordinator to oversee the Dietary Services at our Care Centers. You will lead daily meal prep and delivery, align staff with organizational goals, and involve patients and families in menu planning with RD input.

With a focus on quality and compliance, you will monitor safety standards, supervise dietary staff, and implement process improvements across the department.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service focus at all times.
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Participates in daily preparation and delivery of meals.
• Develops teamwork and alignment with Care Center/agency goals and vision.
• Involves patients, families, staff and volunteers in client-centered menus/meal prep and delivery with RD assistance.
• Reviews Dietary Services policies annually and recommends updates to Care Center Managers and Program Director.
• Monitors QA, OSHA and infection control compliance for Dietary Services.
• Supervises, schedules and directs duties of all dietary staff; screens and supports performance measures with Managers.
