Rochelle Community Hospital is seeking a Cook on Duty to support patient meals and dietary needs. You will print diet lists, edit menus, and assemble patient trays, ensuring quality and timely service in a fast-paced hospital kitchen.
Under supervision, you will coordinate with Food Service and other departments, while maintaining safety standards and supporting the team to meet patient care schedules.

The cook on duty performs clerical responsibilities related to patient care, including printing the diet list from the computer, editing patient menus, and preparing the patient snack list. Under limited supervision provides communications between Food Service and other patient departments. In the absence of the Food Service Manager, supervises all other Food Service personnel. Prepares all hot food items including some salads and desserts, and is responsible for the final patient tray assembly. Duties may vary to meet the requirement of the Food Service department activities.
