Lunds & Byerlys Glen Lake in Minnetonka, MN is hiring a part-time Food Service Cook to create a sensational shopping experience. This role offers a part-time schedule with a competitive wage of $18.00-$20.00/hr and the opportunity to work up to 39.5 hours per week.

You will join a team that operates 7 days a week from 6:00am to 10:00pm, with shifts between 6:00am and 10:00pm, focusing on deli and customer service, food safety, and keeping the department clean and inviting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year cooking experience in deli or food service.
• Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification.
• Good communication and instruction-following skills.

Lunds & Byerlys Glen Lake is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing part-time Food Service Cook to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a part-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $18.00-$20.00/hr. Additionally, in this role the team member would have the opportunity to work up to 39.5 hours a week.

We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 6:00am-10:00pm.

FOOD SERVICE COOK RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Food Service Cooks are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as:

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Slicing deli meats, cheeses, and breads
• Stocking, rotating, and staging deli merchandise to ensure quality and freshness
• Creating a welcoming and safe environment
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the department

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) years cooking experience in deli or food service
• Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification
  • Communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
