Over the past ten years, we have developed a high-volume food service, catering, and delivery business, actively working to improve food resources and education for school children, food pantries, and the community. Our mission is to build a sustainable and equitable food system by reconnecting consumers with local farmers, aiming for better nutrition, tastier food, social justice, and environmental sustainability.

What You'll Do

• Maintain daily food service in a corporate office setting, including stocking, plating, and replenishing dishes.
• Ensure a food-safe and sanitary environment following handling guidelines.
• Greet and assist guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Understand menu options and suggest alternatives for dietary restrictions.
• Perform basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, seasoning, and preparing sauces and salads.
• Read and prepare simple recipes like waffles, pancakes, omelets, and oatmeal.
• Set up and break down dining and buffet areas, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Support loading and unloading of food and supplies for catering events.
• Store equipment properly after use and handle dishwashing duties.
• Work across multiple sites in Manhattan as needed.

Who You Are

• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19; proof required.
• Possession of a NYC Food Handler's certificate is preferred.
• Capable of lifting over 50 pounds and standing for long periods.
• Outgoing, considerate, with front and back of house experience in catering or similar settings.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Organized, punctual, problem-solver, and tech-savvy.
• Passionate about local food, nutrition, and community health.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, shifts from 6AM-7PM, with weekend flexibility
• Pay: Starting at $20/hour
