Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Food Service Clerk in Minnesota. You will keep food service cases stocked and clean, assist customers, and maintain a friendly, energetic demeanor.

Key duties include stocking, pricing accuracy, product rotation, and operating food service equipment. A high school diploma and 1–2 years’ grocery retail experience are preferred; knowledge of natural foods is a plus.

• 1–2 years grocery retail experience preferred.
• Experience in natural foods a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure cleanliness of food service cases, storage area, and work area for safety.
• Stock food service cases with proper face, price, and stock levels.
• Inspect rotation and discard expired items.
• Assist customers with purchases and product selection, including upselling.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for temperature and quality.
• Monitor signs, coupons, and promotional materials.
• Operate equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, and pallet jacks.
• Prepare food service items following recipes and portions.
• Weigh and label products accurately.
• Participate in pre-inventory prep and maintain tags.
• Maintain product knowledge and department cleanliness.
• Move through the department to keep a sanitary and organized appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
