Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred 1-2 years grocery retail experience in Grocery department processes and procedures.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness of grocery shelves, storage area, and work area.
• Stock shelves, face products, and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Monitor product rotation and discard expired items.
• Assist customers with purchases and product selection.
• Receive and inspect products for shipment, temperature, and quality.
• Maintain accurate signage, coupons, and promotional material.
• Operate equipment such as scales, knives, wrappers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Weigh and label products accurately.
• Build grocery displays and price merchandise.
• Prepare for inventory and back stock checks.
• Maintain knowledge of products and preparation.
