This is a combined posting for a Food Service Attendant and Senior Food Service Attendant. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Under the direction of Department supervisors performs a variety of duties to insure the smooth operation of Food & Nutrition Services (FNS). Duties include assisting to provide meal service to patients (trayline services), employees of Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center (PSHMC) (cafeteria service), and guests (catering service).

Under the supervision of the Food Service Supervisor, performs essential duties associated with the nutritional care and food service to all patients. Must be able to work compatibly with co-workers and be able to comply with confidentiality, and HIPAA guidelines.

Food Service Attendant

Required Qualifications:

• National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Food service experience.

Senior Food Service Attendant

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year - Experience in a food service operation.


• 2 years - Progressive experience in a large scale food service operation or hospital.

Senior Food Service Attendant, Salary Range: Spokane, WA Min: $18.15, Max: $25.77
