Allegheny Health Network is seeking a dedicated food service team member to prepare and serve meals to patients, staff, and visitors. The role emphasizes strict adherence to sanitation, safety, and infection control guidelines within a hospital setting.

You will maintain stock, assist with catering tasks, and help ensure timely, courteous service across meal periods, daily operations, and special events. This position offers on-site work in a hospital environment.

Qualificações

• Experience in hospital or food service environments preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and infection control guidelines.
• Attention to sanitation and cleanliness in food prep areas.
• Capable of interacting professionally with patients, staff and visitors.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and serves meals to patients, employees, visitors, and catering customers.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment and work areas.
• Utilizes proper food handling, portioning and food storage techniques according to standards and guidelines.
• Maintains, assembles and stocks adequate levels of food items, products and supplies.
• Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas following schedules and using prescribed methods and chemicals.
• Interacts and serves patients, visitors, and employees to ensure continuity of service.
• Performs other duties as assigned including cashier and/or catering functions and cart transport.
