Job summary

Morrison Living in Durham, NC is hiring for full-time and part-time Food Service Worker positions at Croasdaile Village. Shifts include 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, 11:00 am - 8:00 pm, or 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm with rotating weekends and holidays. Prior food service experience of 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• 6 months of prior food service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures sanitation and safety requirements are met.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
