Morrison Living in Durham, NC is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time GRILL COOK positions at Croasdaile Village. Work hours are 10:30 am to 7:30 pm with rotating days and weekends. A minimum of 6 months of food handling and ServeSafe manager experience is required, with pay ranging from $16.00 to $16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• 6 months of prior food handling experience.
• ServeSafe manager experience required.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customer and prepares items requiring short preparation.
• Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following steps of service.
• Ensures food is at correct temperature and attractive.
• Uses ticket-collection procedures during service.
• Carrries pans, kettles and trays of food to/from stations.
• Stores foods in designated areas with proper wrapping and dating.
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains assigned work areas and utensils.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports to supervisor.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and managers.
• Performs duties safely in a clean, safe environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
