Qualifications

• Prior experience or completion of vocational education program in food preparation and service preferred.
• Must acquire the Ohio Department of Health's Level Two certification in Food Protection during probation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down service lines; serve on lines; portion, slice and wrap food; set up and clear tables; wash pots and pans.
• Clean and prepare vegetables and fruits for cooking or serving; make sandwiches, salads, desserts and beverages; toast, grill and fry foods.
• Clean work, serving, dining, and receiving areas; sweep and mop floors; clean walls and windows; empty trash.
• Inform supervisor of preparation, equipment, supply and food requirements; may maintain records.
• May reheat prepared foods; may assist cooks; may train student employees in food service procedures.
