Job summary

Culinary Services Group (CSG) is hiring immediately for full time and part time Food Service Worker positions at the Wrentham Developmental Center, MA. Schedule includes shifts from early morning to evening; weekend availability is required. No prior experience is required; training provided.

The role involves preparing, presenting and serving meals, maintaining kitchen safety and sanitation, and supporting daily operations in a senior care/hospital setting. This is a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure quality and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner and resolves concerns.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation, safety and cash handling procedures.
