Job summary

Maplefields & R.L. Vallee in Colchester, VT is seeking a Food Service Associate to greet customers and set up service areas. You will prepare hot and cold items, ensure utensils and condiments are stocked, and check temperatures per safety guidelines.

You will take orders, serve items to customers, clean and maintain work areas, assist with deliveries, and help train other staff. Shifts vary by location with flexible scheduling, and you’ll work in various temperatures throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Ensure utensils, napkins, and condiments are available to customers.
• Check food temperatures before serving following safety guidelines.
• Take orders and serve food items per customers' requests.
• Clean, wash, and maintain work areas, floors, pots, pans, and equipment.
• Collect and dispose of garbage/compost in designated containers.
• May train or guide other employees performing related work.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety issues to management immediately.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and organizing loads.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.
