Overview

Food Service Associates provide service to all Break Time food service customers, following high standards for food preparation, cleanliness, and company policies to ensure efficient operations during their shift. They are energetic individuals who believe it only takes a moment to make your day better.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet and thank customers courteously, provide fast and friendly service, handle complaints promptly, and conduct transactions accurately.
• Merchandising: Promote sales through suggestive selling.
• Food Preparation: Follow recipes and guidelines for food safety and quality, inspect products for proper temperature, cleanliness, and portioning.
• Cleanliness: Sanitize equipment and maintain the store environment, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met.
• Communication: Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Teamwork & Training: Complete training, assist in training new employees, and work collaboratively with the team.
• Technology Use: Operate store technology, perform mathematical calculations, and complete reports.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Friendly, customer-oriented personality with enthusiasm for a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to attend food safety training and obtain necessary certifications.
• Physical ability to handle cold storage environments and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform calculations, operate a computer, and use technical equipment.
• Willingness to use ladders occasionally and perform duties with accuracy and minimal supervision.
