Global Partners is looking for a Food Service Associate/ Deli Clerk. Our Fresh Food Associate is responsible for the store's deli and food service daily operations, ensuring a high level of sanitation, store appearance, and guest service.

Responsibilities:
  • Process cash register transactions, including giving change and refunds.
  • Learn to use register, scales, scanners, and debit/credit terminals.
  • Use UPC codes, store signage, and memorize register keys and codes.
  • Read UPC codes, product labels, shelf signage, and company policies.
  • Handle deli ingredients, including meats, vegetables, fruits, spices, nuts, sauces, and oils.
  • Ensure weights and pricing are correct using scale printers.
  • Monitor product pricing, signage, and placement.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice, and stock deli and food service products, rotating them as needed.
  • Cook and prepare deli items such as fried foods, salads, sandwiches, roller grill items, beverages, and snacks.
  • Work safely around equipment like slicers, ovens, and burners.
  • Display products following merchandising guidelines.
  • Take guest orders, ensuring timely and satisfactory service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Additional Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings; flexibility to assist other locations.
  • 2 years of foodservice or retail management experience.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Serv-safe certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in coolers/freezers.
