Overview

Food Service Associates provide service to all Break Time food service customers, following high standards for food preparation, cleanliness, and company policies to ensure efficient operation during their shift. They are energetic individuals who believe it only takes a moment to make someone's day better.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet and thank customers courteously, provide fast and friendly service, handle complaints promptly, and conduct transactions accurately.
• Merchandising & Sales: Promote sales through suggestive selling techniques.
• Food Preparation: Follow recipes and guidelines, inspect products for proper temperature, cleanliness, rotation, and portioning.
• Clean Environment: Sanitize equipment and maintain cleanliness standards; ensure proper food storage and display.
• Communication: Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Teamwork & Training: Collaborate with team members, complete training, and assist in training new staff.
• Technology Use: Operate store technology, perform mathematical calculations, and complete reports.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Friendly, customer-oriented personality with enthusiasm for a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to attend food safety training and obtain necessary certifications.
• Physical ability to handle cold temperatures and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform math, operate a computer, and work with ladders occasionally.
• Ability to perform duties accurately with minimal supervision.

All requirements apply, and candidates must be 18 or older, authorized to work in the U.S., and pass pre-employment screening.
