Responsibilities

As a Break Time Food Service Associate, your typical duties may include:

• Customer Service: Greeting and thanking customers courteously, providing fast and friendly service, handling complaints promptly, and conducting transactions accurately.
• Merchandising and Sales: Promoting sales through suggestive selling techniques.
• Food Preparation: Following guidelines, recipes, and job aids for food prep; inspecting products for quality, safety, and proper storage.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Sanitizing equipment and work areas, ensuring food safety standards, and keeping the store tidy.
• Communication: Maintaining professional communication with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Teamwork and Training: Collaborating with management and assisting in training new employees.
• Technology Use: Operating store technology, performing calculations, and completing reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Friendly, customer-oriented personality with enthusiasm for a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to attend food safety training and obtain necessary certifications.
• Physical ability to handle cold temperatures and lift up to 50 pounds.
