Saint Francis Healthcare System in Missouri is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist in meal preparation and service for patients and customers. You will serve food on patient trays, ensure diet accuracy, and may operate a cash register.
You will keep work areas clean, label and store items per regulations, and support dishwashing duties as needed. Saint Francis offers comprehensive benefits and a values-driven work environment.
Responsible for preparation and service of meals served to patients and customers. Customer service skills meet the expectation of the Medical Center's standards of practice. Serves food items on patient trayline, ensuring accuracy of prescribed diet. Serves Restaurant customers quality food at the proper temperature and portion size. May operate a cash register. Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition. Ensures that all food and supplies are properly labeled and stored as required by County and State regulatory agencies. May operate dish machine, and/or wash pots and pans.
