Position Title: Food Service Associate

Reports to: Food Service Supervisor (if applicable) and/or Food Service Operations Manager(s)

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform the steps of SSA EXTRA Guest Service to ensure a memorable experience for every guest and client.
  2. Support restaurant prep (FOH and line) for daily operation.
  3. Meet daily quick service, food service, safety and quality, availability, merchandising and guest service standards.
  4. Participate in safety logs including food temperatures, rotation and waste as necessary.
  5. Ensure proper uniform, hygiene, hand-washing and glove use.
  6. Maintain a SSAfe work environment by abiding to all SSAFETY rules.
  7. Follow through daily prep and items lists, as assigned.
  8. Actively help to support operation in assigned role, supporting holes as necessary.
  9. Actively and efficiently respond to guest and client feedback, reporting to the supervisor to mitigate any potential complaints.
  10. Communicate issues with daily service or quality to the Restaurant Supervisor and/or Food Operations Manager.
  11. Remain knowledgeable of all menu items, prices and specials for sharing with guests.
  12. Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.
  13. Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
  14. Uphold and demonstrate a complete understanding of company policies and procedures.
  15. Present a clean and welcoming experience for guests by upholding sanitation requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving/decision making skills combined with the ability to be organized.
  • Ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player, personable, professional, upbeat and energetic, who takes initiative.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (10-35lbs) as necessary.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.
