Job summary

Jacksons in Murrieta, CA is hiring a Food Service Assistant Manager to lead a fast-paced, customer-focused team. You will drive sales by delivering quality food and executing our fast-food program, while training staff and maintaining stock and safety standards.

The role requires flexible hours (days 8:00am - 5:00pm), a Food Handlers Permit, and a passion for service. We offer comprehensive benefits, bonus potential, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome every customer with a smile and invite them back.
• Complete all food ordering for the store.
• Maintain appropriate levels of prep items and food.
• Train Fast Food Team Members across promotions and programs.
• Sample fast food, deli, and beverages to drive sales and offer bounce back coupons.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functioning; report issues.
• Review KPI Dashboard weekly and share insights with the team.
• Complete waste sheets and temperature logs daily and uphold hold times.
• Follow sanitation and food handling procedures.
• Participate in store meetings and present food-related material.

Pay: Starting at $18.50 - $19.50 an Hour.

The Food Service Assistant Manager drives sales by delivering great tasting food and effectively executing Jacksons fast-food program. You monitor sales data and adjust as business volumes dictate. Shift: Days 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Welcome every customer with a smile, thanking them for their business, and inviting them back.
• Complete all food ordering for the store.
• Maintain appropriate levels of prep items and food, checking/adjusting daily.
• Teach and train Fast Food Team Members in all food service, deli, and beverage promotions and programs and manage training for all fast-food employees.
• Actively sample fast food, deli, and beverage products to drive sales and offer bounce back coupons when needed.
• Ensure Fast Food equipment is clean and in proper working condition and report any maintenance or issues to the store manager.
• Review KPI Dashboard on a weekly basis and communicate success and opportunities with team.
• Complete waste sheets and temperature log daily and ensure all food hold times are upheld.
• Ensure proper sanitation and food handling/prep/storage/disposal procedures are followed.
• Participate in store meetings and present food related material as required.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, you are frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
