Job summary

Buehler’s Fresh Foods in Ohio is seeking a Food Service Assistant to support Restaurant Operations and help ensure an exceptional customer experience, whether shopping or dining in our restaurant.

You will buss tables, seat guests, mentor new employees, and maintain a spotless dining area. You will also assist in BOH with dishwashing, deliveries, and sanitation, while adapting to a dynamic food service environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Occasional standing, reaching, lifting up to 50–80 lb.
• Must follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
• Kitchen environment includes heat, steam, noise and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Buss tables and seat guests when needed.
• Assist with mentoring new employees.
• Ensure dining room is spotless (tables, floors, walls).
• Comply with sanitation and personal hygiene standards.
• Wash dishes and manage BOH area; keep area clean.
• Assist with daily deliveries and food prep areas.
• Support during catered events as needed.
