Central Regional Hospital - Food Service Assistant

Are you seeking an exciting career in Nutrition Services with opportunities for growth? We are recruiting for a Food Service Assistant at Central Regional Hospital. This role involves cross-training throughout Nutrition Services and primarily focuses on preparing and serving food across various stations. Responsibilities include:

1. Preparing, assembling, and labeling patient nourishments and snacks per menus and policies.
2. Monitoring meal nourishments and supplements to ensure proper delivery within the hospital.
3. Maintaining knowledge of modified diets, posted menus, and portion control, including complex diet combinations.
4. Ensuring food safety standards are met.
5. Preparing and serving snacks attractively and punctually.
6. Managing waste and maintaining cleanliness of work areas and floors.

This is a full-time position with benefits, including health insurance and retirement. The work hours are from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with rotating weekends and holidays. Flexibility is required for adverse weather events, during which reporting or staying over is mandatory.

Qualifications
