Job summary

The Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center in Farmington, MO is seeking energetic Food Service Workers to support the Adult Psychiatric Services unit. This is a first-level position accountable for preparing simple menu items under direct supervision, following dietary needs, standard kitchen procedures, and sanitation guidelines.

Duties include washing dishes, stocking food in serving lines, and assisting in daily kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of work experience.
• Substitutions may be allowed.
• Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.

This is a second-level food service position.

This is a first-level food service position accountable for preparing simple menu items under direct supervision. An employee at this level will follow specific dietary needs, standard kitchen procedures, and sanitation guidelines when handling, preparing, and serving food. Additional duties include washing dishes and kitchen tools, and stocking food in serving lines.

Minimum Qualifications

• 0-1 year of work experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
