Job summary

Main Line Health, Inc. in Paoli Hospital is seeking a Food Service Assistant to deliver friendly, patient-focused service in the hospital dining area. You will support daily food service operations, maintain safety standards, and assist with catering events across departments.

Shifts are 7am-3:30pm or 11:00am-7:30pm with every other weekend and rotating holidays; prior health-care food service experience is preferred, and English proficiency is required to perform duties effectively.

Qualifications

• One year of food service experience in healthcare preferred.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate English sufficiently to perform required duties.
• Effective communication/interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, excellent customer service to patients, employees, and visitors in the food service area.
• Assist with catering events and daily food service operations across departments.
• Maintain highest food safety standards as part of hospital service.

Position:

Food Service Assistant

Shift:

Scheduled shifts are either 7am-3:30pm or 11:00am-7:30pm. Every other weekend and rotating holidays

Experience:

One year previous food service experience in a health care environment or as a cook preferred.

Education:

Ability to read, write, understand and communicate English sufficiently to perform required duties.

Effective communication/interpersonal skills required.
