Main Line Health is hiring an Environmental Services Technician for Paoli Hospital in Paoli, PA. Open positions include Full Time 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, and 3rd Shift (7am-3:30pm, 2:30pm-11pm, 11pm-7:30am).

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Clean and supply patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, and common areas according to Environmental Services procedures.
• Perform floor care: dry and wet mop floors, buff floors, burnish floors.
• Remove trash, soiled linen, and red waste per Main Line Health standards.
• Maintain assigned equipment and report malfunctions.
• Observe and report needs for repairs of hospital equipment, furniture or fixtures.
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service to patients, visitors and co-workers.

• Full Time 2nd Shift - 2:30pm-11pm
• Full Time 3rd Shift - 11pm-7:30am

Shifts

Part Time - 20hrs/week 7am - 3:30pm

• Positions 20hrs/week or more are Benefits Eligible
• All positions have an Every other weekend and rotating holidays are requirement

Clean and supply patient rooms, removal of soiled linen units, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, common areas, floors, public bathrooms, offices and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department and in accordance with hospital objectives. Floor care: dry and wet mop floors, buff floors with buffing machine, burnish floors with burnishing machine. Refuse removal: collect and transport trash, remove soiled linen and red waste (according to Main Line Health standards). Facility cleaning: wash walls, hang cubicle curtains, clean stairwells and perform any other assigned project as. Provide friendly, efficient customer service to patients, visitors and co-workers. Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and report any machine malfunctions. Observe and report need for repairs of hospital equipment, furniture, fixtures, etc.

Experience

• Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Previous experience using battery operated floor scrubbers, buffers and burnishers is preferred

Education

• Minimum of a High School/GED is preferred.
• Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude is desirable.
