Job summary

Worthington Enterprises in West Warwick, RI is seeking a Food Service Assistant to support Café 1400 and learn the full operation of the cafe with teammates. You will stock the deli station, help prepare soups, salads, and menu items, maintain FIFO, and keep a clean, organized workspace.

The role includes taking care of the cash register and coffee station, basic baking, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and POS usage
• Basic food prep and safety
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Experience with deli station operations recommended

• Maintain proper rotation of all food products and other stock items (FIFO)
• Store delivered items (Beverages, produce, dry goods, perishable food)
• Preparation of foods according to daily production list (Chop and slice vegetables for soups, salads, menu items, and breakfast prep)
• Maintain a clean work area
• Replenish hot serving table during 1st shift lunch. Serve customers as needed
• Break down and power off all equipment

Job description

• Store delivered items (Beverages, produce, dry goods, perishable food)

Schedule Pay and Benefits

• 3rd shift 1 am - 9 am Sunday thru Thursday
• $20 per hour minimum plus $2.00 shift differential
