Food Service Assistant - St. Barnabas Health System

Details

• Salary Range: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour, based on experience
• Job Type: Part-Time
• Shifts: Morning and afternoon (No Late Nights!)

Responsibilities

• Work with food & beverage supplies including small trays, carafes, coffee pots, plates, silverware, dishes, and glassware.
• Adhere to and apply all Food Server Standards of Excellence.
• Interact professionally with team members, staff, and residents.
• Clean work areas and equipment; sanitize kitchen after meals; perform daily cleaning tasks.
• Follow schedules for cleaning equipment, work areas, and storage.
• Operate dishwasher and dispose of trash.
• Wash, clean, and sanitize pots & pans.
• Buss dishes, trays, and food for dining rooms.
• Load, unload, and clean food carts.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Ability to move at least 50 lbs.
• Remain in a stationary position as needed.
• Stooping and kneeling as required.
• Reach and lift kitchen equipment.
• Navigate the facility to deliver meals and take orders.
