St. Barnabas Nursing Home is hiring Food Service Assistants:

• Salary Range: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour, based on experience
• Job Type: Full Time or Part-Time
• Shifts: Morning, Afternoon, and Evenings (No Late Nights!)

Responsibilities

• Handle food & beverage supplies including trays, carafes, coffee pots, plates, silverware, dishes, and glassware.
• Follow all Food Server Standards of Excellence.
• Interact effectively with team members, staff, and residents.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment; sanitize after each meal and perform daily cleaning tasks.
• Operate dishwashers, dispose of trash, and clean kitchen equipment.
• Assist in bussing dishes and food, loading/unloading food carts, and floor cleaning.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Remain stationary as needed.
• Stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting are required.
• Navigate the facility to deliver meals and take orders.
