Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food in a timely and efficient manner.
• Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner.
• Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising quality.
• Maintain compliance with sanitation, infection control, risk management guidelines, and HACCP plan.
• Completes cleaning duties, pulling trash, sweeping, mopping.
• Assist patients in completing menu selections and offer alternatives per allergies, preferences, and cultural needs.
• Update and validate diet changes in the patient diet management system and print/distribute reports and menus.
• Stock nourishment rooms and assist with kitchen stocking.
• Perform cafeteria duties including serving, grilling, stocking, cleaning and cash handling.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Food Handlers Card

• Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling
• Healthcare/restaurant experience
• Commitment to customer service
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and effectively work alongside the culinary team and leaders
