Job summary

MGM Resorts International seeks a Food Server for The Library at Park MGM in Las Vegas. You will take and deliver guest orders with poise, maintain elegant tables, finalize checks, and exceed guest satisfaction in an intimate, book-lined retreat.

Ideal candidates are 21+, with 5+ years of relevant experience in fine dining, and you will work varied shifts including weekends and holidays in a prestigious resort setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 5+ years of prior Food Server experience in a fine dining or upscale environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome.
• Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery of menu items for every course and both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain table cleanliness utilizing a silent service approach.
• Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned areas, side stations, tables and POS stations.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
• Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff to fulfill requested guest or employee needs.

As a Food Server for The Library at Park MGM, you will be responsible for taking and delivering guest orders with exceptional poise, maintaining elegant tables, finalizing checks, and consistently exceeding guest satisfaction. Working in close collaboration with the culinary and service teams in our intimate, book-lined retreat, you will perform essential side work and maintain pristine station cleanliness to set the stage for an extraordinary dining experience, ensuring every guest departs with lasting WOW memories of Park MGM’s refined, non-smoking hospitality.

The Starting Rate

$14.4497 Hourly + Tips

The Day-to-day

• Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome

• Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees

The Ideal Candidate

• Work Varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• 5+ Years of prior relevant Food Server experience in a Fine Dining restaurant or similar upscale environment preferred
