MGM Resorts is seeking a Food Server for Room Service at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. You will deliver private-luxury in-room dining, anticipating guests’ needs with a polished, concierge-style service. Work closely with culinary and dispatch teams to ensure flawless presentation and order accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in fast-paced room service or high-volume dining, is 21+, and can maintain pristine presentation while delivering memorable WOW moments for guests.

• 3+ years of prior relevant experience as a food server in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• 21+ years of age or older.
• Strong knowledge of menu items and beverage service.

THE JOB:

As a Food Server for Room Service at Mandalay Bay , you will play a vital role in delivering the ultimate private-luxury dining experience directly to guests relaxing in our stunning rooms and suites. Going far beyond the seamless art of delivering beautifully prepared meals and finalizing checks, you will serve as a personal hospitality ambassador, anticipating needs with polished poise and presenting each culinary creation in the comfort of our guests' private sanctuaries. By working in close coordination with our culinary and dispatch teams to ensure flawless order accuracy and maintaining pristine presentation standards, your warm and attentive service will transform an in-room meal into a spectacular, "WOW" dining memory.

THE STARTING RATE:

$14.7791 Hourly + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome
• Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery of menu items of every course and both non and alcoholic beverages
• Maintain table cleanliness utilizing a silent service approach
• Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned areas, side stations, tables and Point of Sale (POS) stations
• Anticipate the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
• Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• 3+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience as a Food Server for a High-Volume, fast-paced restaurant or similar dining environment preferred
