MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking a Kitchen Coordinator to provide essential administrative support to the Food & Beverage department, ensuring smooth daily operations and clear communication across teams.

You will coordinate meetings, organize banquet events, and assist with special projects within F&B, contributing to efficient service and guest experiences at Mandalay Bay.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of prior relevant experience providing administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for F&B Department, including answering telephones and handling correspondences.
• Coordinate with all departments and outlets to ensure timely order receipt, proper paperwork, and inventory notifications.
• Arrange meetings and conferences for employees, management and purveyors; coordinate relief staff schedules.
• Coordinate relief extra-board staff schedule and assist with tasks as assigned by supervisor or F&B staff.
• Organize Banquet BEOs and attend BEO meetings as necessary.
• Assist with special projects within the F&B division.

THE JOB:

The primary responsibility of the Kitchen Coordinator at Mandalay Bay is to provide administrative support to the Food & Beverage department, ensuring effective communication, organization, and coordination of daily operations.

THE STARTING RATE:

$20.00 hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Provide administrative support for F&B Department, to include answering telephones, correspondences as well as receive information concerning matters related to the Department
• Communicate with all departments and outlet employees to ensure that orders are received in a timely manner, paperwork is properly completed and submitted to Inventory Control or department, and notify chefs of shortages
• Coordinate and assist with tasks assigned from a direct supervisor or F&B staff; arrange meetings and conferences for employees, management and purveyors
• Coordination of relief extra-board staff schedule
• Organize Banquet BEOs and attend BEO meeting as necessary
• Assist with special projects within F&B division

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21+ years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ Years of prior relevant experience providing administrative support
