Job summary

Agua Caliente Palm Springs is seeking a Part Time Food & Beverage Server to provide friendly, knowledgeable service of food and beverages to casino and hotel guests. The role requires standing, moving throughout the property, and working in a smoke-filled environment at times.

You will be responsible for mastering the menu, maintaining station cleanliness, supporting colleagues, and ensuring accurate guest receipts in line with internal controls and standards.

Qualifications

• Follows the correct sequence of service at all times.
• Clears, cleans, resets, and maintains station during shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

• Have a full working knowledge of the menu, specials, beverages and wine lists.
• Follows the correct sequence of service at all times.
• Clears, cleans, resets, and maintains station during shift.
• Assists other servers in giving the best possible service.
• Handles guests receipts according to internal controls.
• Assures F&;B areas are maintained in accordance with company standards, as well as all applicable regulations.
• Remains up-to-date on property events and hours of operation for all F&;B outlets.May be assigned to Food & Beverage work stations of the casino and/or hotel.
• Provide excellent guest service.Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.

GAMING EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIREDQualifications: Required Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Restaurant & 1-2 years of related experience in full-service dining preferred.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the property, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and standing for extended periods of time. Also, may be subjected to a smoke-filled environment.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalates when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
