Job summary

Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage in Rancho Mirage, CA is seeking a Part Time Food & Beverage support role focused on assisting servers and expediting food from the kitchen to guest tables. The position requires the ability to identify menu items, know seating arrangements, and maintain F&B areas per company standards.

You will be part of a team that delivers excellent guest service in a dynamic casino/hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in expediting all food items from the kitchen line to guest tables in an expedient and professional manner.
• Prepare all service carts and trays for transport.
• Identify all menu items by sight and know their descriptions, recognize all table numbers and seating positions.
• Assure F&B areas are maintained per company standards and regulations.
• Remain up to date on property events and hours of operation for all F&B outlets.
• May be assigned to Food & Beverage workstations of the casino and/or hotel.
• Provide excellent guest service.
• Must adhere to Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualification Requirements

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Must be able to obtain and Riverside County Health Department card within one week of employment.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift. Also, may be subjected to a smoke-filled environment.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will **escalate** when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
