Job summary

Hyatt Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa is seeking a Food Server Assistant to support dining operations and guest service. This fast-paced role places you in close contact with guests while maintaining Hyatt’s standards of service and hospitality.

Responsibilities include assisting servers, clearing and resetting tables, serving beverages and snacks, coordinating with team members, and upholding the steps of service to ensure a memorable guest experience at the ocean-view property in Miami Beach.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant Food & Beverage experience.
• Previous customer service experience is an asset.
• Must be fit and energetic.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift, pull and push up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible shift including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist food servers with guest service and support in serving meals.
• Clear, clean and reset dining tables and chairs.
• Serve beverages, drinks and snacks to guests.
• Coordinate with other servers to ensure smooth service.
• Follow Hyatt's steps of service throughout shifts.
