The role of the Server is to provide fast and flawless service to our guests. In addition, the server needs to provide a positive memorable experience to our dining guests.

Responsibilities:

• Promote and portray the VIVÂMEE Values.
• Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.
• Confirm schedule with MOD one week in advance.
• Be knowledgeable of all products and special instructions per manager on duty.
• Ring in all drinks before serving. “Ring It Before You Bring It” - It is NJ State Law.
• Wear proper uniform: clean & pressed black pants and proper Renault shirt. Black shoes polished, no sneakers. No jeans or spandex may be worn.
• Record any LBW exchanged on the transfer sheet at House of Renault Restaurant, alerting the MOD.
• Restock all necessary items needed for service and/or event before, during, and after scheduled shift.
• Review all paperwork from manager, paying attention to special arrangements/details/counts.
• Monitor Consumption Sheet and turn into MOD at end of shift.
• Communicate with MOD on inventory needs.
• Assist team members through efficient service at all times.
• Keep all service areas, including kitchen, in sanitary condition in accordance with Board of Health Standards. See MOD for specifications and/or special instructions.
• End shift with MOD approval.
• Provide quality service to all patrons by greeting them promptly and professionally in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Be knowledgeable of beverage specials both liquor and soft drinks. Must have extensive knowledge of menu, daily features, promotional offerings, and be able to effectively convey overall knowledge of property events and locations.
• Adhere to ABC laws and regulations connected to the service of alcoholic beverages.
• Place all orders promptly and accurately through the POS system.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery of food and beverage.
• Remove, replace, replenish, and restock all required items.
• Prepare guest check and collect payment.
• Use proper verbiage, good judgment, and tasteful conversation at all times.
• Set up any reservation/event as directed by supervisor or MOD on duty.
• Attend pre-shift meetings to execute all points of service and/or special assignments or instructions.

Authorities:

• Prepare guest check and collect payment.
• Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with ABC laws and regulations.
• Collect tips off guest tables.
• Place and pick up orders.

Accountabilities:

• Effectively execute responsibilities within specified authorities.
• Report to the restaurant chef on duty.
• Report to the Restaurant Manager and F&B Manager.

Specific Requirements:

• Employee will be expected to work on mandatory events and holidays.
